Woodland Ridge Smyrna is built on one level so getting around is easy.  Large windows throughout bring in the sunshine and beautiful courtyard or garden views.  Studio apartments are spacious and bright. There are a variety of floor plans to choose from.

Care Offered

In assisted living, care and help are provided for activities of daily living, bathing, showering, dressing, toileting along with medication management.  Health care coordination is available with scheduled transportation if required.

Woodland Ridge Smyrna utilizes the best of technology. CaraSyst Living Program is an electronic documenting program to ensure that all staff is updated on any resident’s care needs and react quickly if there is a change. Part of CaraSyst’s programming includes care assessments to understand the needs of each resident. This information is used to create an individualized care plan that all caregivers follow.  With the information gathered on a regular basis, outcome reporting is another feature of the program to be used to determine changing needs and communicating with families.

SimpleC is technology specific for memory care documenting and celebrating a resident life story and family interaction.

In memory care, Friends for Life approach to care is all about caring for residents as you would a best friend. Caregivers taking the time to know their resident’s preferences and just as important, their story, to be able to connect and care for each person as an individual and friend. It is through knowing resident’s life stories, is where Joy in the Moment, moments are created every day.

Residents participate in regularly scheduled Health and Wellness screenings.

Offered as a convenience to residents and providing continuity of care, Woodland Ridge Smyrna provides on site physical, occupational and speech therapies.  Through the therapy department, preventative education and clinical programs are available to all residents whether it be skilled therapy or joining the Live Well walking club. 

Physicians round regularly at Woodland Ridge Smyrna.  Easy access to a local geriatrician, dentist and optometrist is available to residents who would enjoy having to worry about scheduling or getting to appointments. The doctors come to you! There is no obligation to use the house physicians. It is always resident’s choice.

Short term rehabilitation is offered at Woodland Ridge Smyrna. Focused on recouperation and rehabilitation, all amenities are available to residents who may be staying temporarily while recovering.

Activities abound at Woodland Ridge Smyrna. Residents enjoy a variety of religious services, exercise classes, arts, crafts, clubs, music and fun outings.  While no pets are allowed to live at Woodland Ridge, pets come visit on a frequent basis.  Weekly visits from the Humane Society and visits from the Greyhound club are favorite visitors of the residents!
