With nurse oversight 24 hours a day by a registered nurse and licensed practical nurses, Sunrise provides a higher level of care than many other assisted living communities in the area.
Sunrise of East Cobb has physicians and a geriatric psychiatrist providing regular visits. Rehabilitation is available daily. A visiting dentist and podiatrist are scheduled regularly to come into the community. Use of these services is optional and provided for continuity of care and residence convenience.

Sunrise CareConnect is an electronic health record system designed to provide highly individualized care for state- of- the-art health management. This system provides consistent and comprehensive documenting for each resident’s care needs.

Sunrise meals are all chef prepared, scratch cooking made with the finest and freshest ingredients. Residents enjoy healthy, tasty dining experiences every day! They serve meals restaurant style with plenty of options. For those that may require a pureed diet can also be accommodated. Menus are prepared with resident’s input on what they would enjoy.  With floor to ceiling windows, the dining room is bright with natural sunlight coming in to add to the ambiance.

Sunrise Live with Purpose offers programming to include activities to engage the mind, body and spirit through exercise, outings, art, music, education, intergenerational mentoring, community service and spirituality.  Balloon volleyball, sing-a-longs and having entertainers come in are some of the favorite events at the community. Sunrise at East Cobb has a piano and you never know if a resident will decide to delight their friends and neighbors by playing a few tunes! Sunrise of East Cobb is committed to keeping families connected with their loved ones in person and with SMILE technology.  Through the family engagement application, SMILE allows family members to see what is happening in the community daily. Families stay informed and can view photos and videos of the different activities happening in the community as residents enjoy life.  
The Sunrise of East Cobb community is beautiful, warm and inviting.  There are a variety of floor plans. Apartments and community gathering spaces are architecturally interesting and welcoming. There are several stone fireplaces with comfy seating to lounge in and visit or read a book or watch television. The architectural style is Victorian with an attractive wrap- around porch for enjoying the outdoors. 

Residents and families enjoy the beautiful garden area and walking paths with many seating areas. The walking path surrounds the entire community and Sunrise of East Cobb is pet friendly. They even have a senior rescue house dog and cat for everyone to love.
