Located on 10 acres, Sterling Estates of East Cobb offers 90 private suites to serve residents in independent living and assisted living. The owners of Sterling Estates live in Cobb County and are very connected to the local area and are active in the day to day running of the community. Due to the amount of land the community is situated on allows for much green space to have sidewalks, porches, a beautiful courtyard with a fountain, raised garden beds and walking paths. Surrounded by homes, the community is peaceful and calm.  Life at Sterling Estates is all about family and intergenerational moments. It is not unusual to see the grandchildren of residents swimming in the pool or playing baseball, football or bocce ball out in front.

Independent living at Sterling Estates of East Cobb offers cottage homes or apartments in the main residence.  The cottages do have a one -year rental contract with an entrance fee.

Assisted living provides help with all activities of daily living from medication monitoring, assistance with bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming, emergency notification systems with personal pendants and bathroom pull cords.

What is important about the philosophy at Sterling Estates is that couples will not be separated if one may need more help and needs assisted living and the other does not. They can continue to live together. If a resident needs more memory support, Sterling Estates of East Cobb has a 1700 square foot Legacy Activity Center.  Providing more individual attention, the Legacy Program provides engagement with residents to include meaningful activities which reduce agitation and improve mental stimulation which can delay further decline.

Floor plans start at 408 square feet for a studio suite to 2413 square feet for the largest two -bedroom home. There are many different floor plans to choose from.

Wellness is a top priority for Sterling Estates of East Cobb. The Sterling Way Wellness Center is 5000 square feet designed to keep residents as independent as possible.  It has an indoor heated salt water therapeutic pool and workout machines for strength training. All the equipment has been designed for seniors.  Residents can participate in many programs such as the Biodex balance program, the Dakim brain fitness program and chair aerobics.  There are many other beneficial programs offered to promote movement and physical activity while providing a fun and social environment to engage with friends.

The activity calendar has so many opportunities to do what residents like or want to try.  Local organizations from choirs, theater, music and so many more come to perform and other events in the area provide a great outing for the community.
