With nurse oversight 24 hours a day by a registered nurse and licensed practical nurses, Sunrise provides a higher level of care than many of the other assisted living communities in the area.

Sunrise at Five Forks has physicians and a geriatric psychiatrist providing regular visits. Rehabilitation is available daily. A visiting dentist and podiatrist are scheduled regularly to come into the community. Use of these services are optional and provided for continuity of care and residence convenience.

Sunrise CareConnect is an electronic health record system designed to provide highly individualized care for state- of- the-art health management. This system provides consistent and comprehensive documenting for each resident’s care needs.

Sunrise meals are all chef prepared, scratch cooking made with the finest and freshest ingredients. Residents enjoy healthy, tasty dining experiences every day!   Meals are served restaurant style with plenty of options. For those that may require a pureed diet can also be accommodated.  Menus are prepared with resident’s input on what they would enjoy. Residents love the Southern fried chicken at Sunrise at Five Forks! The culinary team is always happy to share old family recipes of the residents so the entire community can enjoy them.

Sunrise Live with Purpose offers programming to include activities to engage the mind, body and spirit through exercise, outings, art, music, education, intergenerational mentoring, community service and spirituality.  Friday afternoon socials are a favorite event at the community.
