The mission to provide unparalleled care is personal for the Mann family. The communities they own and operate are a legacy and tribute to their patriarch, Dr. Charles Mann. Dr. Mann dedicated his life to providing medical solutions to some of the most debilitating illnesses including his own Alzheimer’s diagnosis which he struggled with for 17 years.

Care Offered

Services offered at The Mann House Cumming include assisted living and memory care, but they can also provide in home care, palliative and hospice care. 
Residents can feel secure knowing that help is available for activities of daily living but also for needs that may be greater as they age in place. Chronic conditions can be part of aging and The Mann House Cumming will always be there to support their residents with compassionate care. Some of the higher care needs are incontinence care, transfer and mobility help, eating assistance, advance memory care, and diabetes monitoring.

The Mann House Cumming in The Annex can provide care that is beyond what is typically available in assisted living. Residents who have even higher needs because of Parkinson’s, Lewy Body dementia, ALS or other cognitive or progressive nerve diseases can be comfortably cared for. The Mann House ownership realizes that residents need more help to manage the severity of their chronic conditions. They are very proud to care for residents with these higher needs in the warm, homelike environment of their community.

With a staff to resident ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, personalized service is a top priority. This staff to resident ratio is far greater than most assisted living communities in the area. Caregivers and nurses at The Mann House Cumming are committed to providing the highest quality of care.
The Mann House Cumming is very proud of their staff and low turn-over rate. Many of the staff have been with them for 10 years or more. Some have been there for 30 years!

Much attention has been given to the dining experience at The Mann House Cumming.  A beautifully appointed dining room sets the stage for meals that are executive chef prepared. The culinary team is proud to create meals that are pleasing to the eye and appetite. The menu has seasonal variety with fresh ingredients. They grow vegetables and herbs in The Mann House’s own raised bed gardens and tended to by residents who love to garden. The Mann House was the first in the country to offer exceptional chef-prepared meals. They are known for their 24/7 Silver Tray Service.

The main dining room features beamed wood ceilings with grand chandeliers. Beautiful upholstery and table linens create a welcoming atmosphere. Adjacent to the dining room are comfortable lounge chairs and a couch on either side of the double-sided fireplace. It is a lovely way to socialize and relax before or after dinner. Much thought was given to the design of The Mann House Cumming to make sure that all the common areas are comfortable and attractive. 

Outdoor areas of The Mann House Cumming are lovely and quaint. The outdoor courtyards are secure and has seating areas that are perfect for enjoying any part of the day. Woods surround the grounds and the community has beautiful landscaping. There is something pretty to look at everywhere you look.
